Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Educational Data Insights Australia (EDIA, ABN 58 747 520 455) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

Currently, the only personal information we collect is what you provide voluntarily through our contact form: your name, email address, school (optional), and message.

We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts on this website. We do not currently offer any tool that collects assessment or student data — see “Future changes” below for how that will be handled once our tool is live.

How we use it

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry. We don’t add you to a mailing list, share your details with third parties for marketing, or use your information for any purpose beyond replying to you.

Third-party processing

Our contact form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service, which forwards your submission to our email inbox. Formspree may store submission data on servers located outside Australia. You can read Formspree’s own privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at hello@ed-insights.com.au for any of these requests.

Future changes

If we introduce tools that collect information from students or teachers directly (such as our planned free assessment reflection tool), this policy will be updated to specifically address that data before the tool goes live — including what’s collected, how long it’s retained, and who can access it.
